The IPS 16B-1/8 is designed to reduce large volumes of paper, corrugated boxes, light metal foils, film, and plastics. Its safety features include an infeed guard, large hinged top cover to form over machine, switches to instantly shut down power motor when guards are removed, and control transformer automatically converts high voltage machine power to lower household current for maximum operator safety. Material is dumped onto the power conveyor that passes the material in through the compression roller. The knife mill cutters tear into corrugated material, PET and PVC beverage containers and other bulk material. The heavy top conveyor exudes pressure to flatten the heaviest of cartons. Shredder materials are reduced to 1/8" strips at a rate of 2000 pounds per hour.

IPS warrants its products as follows: One (1) year on defective parts and labor from date of receipt; limited lifetime warranty on primary cutters and cutter shafts, except D.O.D. special high security models, RC, B, and crusher model shredders/knife mills. Does not cover normal wear and tear or paper jams. Warranty void on all models for operator abuse, misuse, neglect or alteration (modification) to shredder/disintegrator or any of its components.
