The WTV is designed to utilize the time in a network time protocol server and distribute to all time stamp machines connected to trader computers on the network. For Wide Area Networks, the system requires the B-4 master server connected to a network server running windows server software, a time clock a each trading desk serially connected and installation of communication software for each client clock. For Local Area Networks the systems requires the B-3 master server connected via a communications hubs directly to each desk clock and a dedicated telephone line for atomic clock updates. Clocks print year, month, day hours, minutes and seconds and are accurate to +/- 2 seconds per day
