The Kobra 400 S5 strip cut shredder is designed to shred large quantities of paper, providing both high capacity and quiet operation. This model has been modified to provide the security required to shred NY City contracts to its regulation size. The bin holds up to 36 gallons of shredded material before a bag change is needed. It shreds up to 44 sheets at a time into 3/16" pieces. The "state-of-the-art" electronic features include automatic start/stop/reverse. It comes equipped with a heavy-duty chain drive, steel gears and a continuous-duty motor. The cutting head destroys credit cards, floppy disks, staples and paper clips. If a paper jam should occur, the automatic reverse will clear it with ease. The bearing mounted removable waste bag allows for easy emptying operations. An adjustable, space saving computer forms top shelf is available at an additional charge.
