The Kobra 240 SS5 CD Shredder offers a solution for all types of shredding needs with its ability to handle paper, credit cards, diskettes, CDs, staples and paper clips. Its continuous-duty motor is specially designed with a cutting mechanism to compress the shredded paper and increase the capacity of the waste bin. The 240 SS5 has an automatic start/stop mechanism via a photocell sensor and allows for one-handed paper feeding. It stops automatically when the waste bin door is opened or full and alerts the operator with a visual indicator. In the event of a paper jam, it automatically shuts off and the reverse mode easily clears it. The waste bin is removable, so there is no need for extra shred bags.
